Iranian documentaries partake in Al Jazeera festival

Thirty Years with Jawshan Kabir by Mehdi Zamanpour Kiasari, Mysteries of Abu Salim Prison by Mohsen Eslamzadeh, and In Search of Persian Leopard by Fathollah Amiri represented Iran’s documentary at the festival.
The Iranian films have competed with many international works
created by the eminent filmmakers from across the world that took part
in the 2013 Al Jazeera festival.
The productions participated in short, medium and long films categories for the Main Competition.
The festival’s jury panel has been composed of 15 members, came from different Arab and non-Arab countries.
Jordan, Austria, , Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, Cuba, Egypt,
France, Holland, India, Indonesia, Iran, , Italy, Kenya, Norway, Poland,
Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, have been among the participated
countries.
The 9th Al Jazeera International Documentary Film Festival kicked off on April 18 and will come to an end on April 21, 2013.
